Due to Covid-19 pandemic many restrictions have been put in place traveling wise, especially over seas and on cruises.

Even though Covid-19 is not over in the United States the State department lifted its level 4: do not travel advisory and returned to determining it’s advisory levels on a country to country basis. Airlines and airports have updated its restrictions and provided rapid Covid-19 tests as well in the vicinity.

Many countries are currently accepting American travelers along with each destination’s protocol and advisory level determined by the State department. Very few countries mandate that American travelers quarantine for 14 days after landing.

Travel is permitted but heavily warned upon. The CDC has some tips and guidelines to consider before traveling, such as:

Is Covid-19 spreading at your destination?

Do you live with someone who might be at an increased risk of severe illness from Covid-19?

Are you at increased risk for Covid-19?

Does your destination have requirements or restrictions for travelers?

The CDC also advises during your trip to take precautions such as masks, gloves, social distancing, washing your hands and so on.

Few states in the U.S. require quarantining after arriving upon the destination. These states include, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming. These states require you to quarantine alone for 14 days or the people you see must a;so quarantine for 14 days.

Places such as Disney World are on pause for tickets in 2020. The Disney World parks are currently set to reopen in mid-July. And, while they are now able to book vacation packages for 2021, guests still can’t purchase tickets or hotel reservations for dates in the remainder of the year.

Universal Studios on the other hand is selling tickets for the rest of 2020. As they are a little smaller of a company and more adult friendly.

Carnival Cruise Line has put a hold to selling tickets until Dec. 15, and is subject to change depending on the Coronavirus updates.

Hopefully this virus will be put to rest soon, with the first vaccine supposedly coming December 2020. In the United States, there is not yet an authorized or approved vaccine to prevent coronavirus. The federal government, though, has been working since the pandemic started to make one or more COVID-19 vaccines available as soon as possible.
